Sheryl Zelikson is widely regarded for producing the most eclectic and exciting line-up of musical guests in the increasingly competitive network television landscape. Recognized by Billboard as one of the 100 Most Powerful Women in Music, Zelikson is known for her talent, dedication, and innovative vision. The veteran producer has earned well-deserved accolades, throughout the entertainment industry from performers, publicists, and managers.

Zelikson began her career as an intern during the final season of NBC’s Late Night with David Letterman officially joining the staff of Late Show with David Letterman, ascending to the role of Music Producer in 2003. Upon Letterman’s retirement, Zelikson was invited to join the new Late Show team as the Senior Music Producer for Stephen Colbert.

As the longest running Producer for the Late Show franchise, Zelikson oversaw all aspects of music for the show. From budgeting, researching and scouting emerging talent, to securing the most regarded musical guests to showcase each evening. Under her auspices, The Late Show with David Letterman and most recently with host Stephen Colbert, Zelikson has presented a truly far-reaching musical guest list, spanning indie, soul, pop, blues, country, hip-hop, classical, jazz, Broadway, and rock ‘n’ roll. Guests have included extraordinary artists making their television debuts – such as Amy Winehouse, Kanye West, The White Stripes, and Chris Stapleton – as well as legends and luminaries from across the spectrum of popular music, from Rihanna to Ralph Stanley, Katy Perry to Bruce Springsteen.

In 2006, Zelikson conceived and developed a business plan for Live on Letterman, an award winning one-hour web series produced in partnership with CBS.com and Worldwide Pants, Inc. With Zelikson as Producer, Live on Letterman broadcast seventy stellar concerts from music’s most iconic superstars, including Foo Fighters, Taylor Swift, Coldplay, Pearl Jam, Tim McGraw, Gorillaz, Mary J. Blige, and Sir Paul McCartney.

Live on Letterman at conception was proven to be genuinely groundbreaking. It was the first network concert series from a late night show to offer artists a remarkable new avenue for reaching the widest possible audience. The series earned the Advertising Age’s 2011 Media Vanguard Award for “Broadcast-To-Digital/Best Live Webcast Series.”

In addition to her work with The Late Show franchise, Zelikson has written several TV proposals for notable charitable organizations, and emerging companies focused on new technology.  The organizations are currently working toward actualizing the shows.

In August, Zelikson started inMedia consultants a boutique entertainment company specializing in evaluation services for emerging artist, A&R advise, TV production, music booking, and show development.

Zelikson is a graduate of New York University. She currently resides in New York City.
